About me

I live in Sheffield, UK with my husband, two working/studying away step kids and two cats. A family of foxes, a hedgehog and badger have also chosen my garden as their home this summer.
I've run my own business since 2014 (Kattwood Consulting) - providing business analysis and product management services alongside training in agile and related practices. I've worked in digital products and services for most of my career - often within education and also housing, finance, HR and publishing.
I like to join the dots, solve problems and look round corners. Whether the dots are people, ideas, issues or products - connectedness makes me smile, ask those questions which really aren't stupid and helps me encourage others to do the same. If I spark joy along the way - that's even better. As I'm interested in the work and client/employer I'm open to interim and perm/temp contracts.
I've an Executive MBA from the University of Sheffield (a past client) and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Birmingham (also a past client).
I used to speak at and host meetup groups including - agile Sheffield and a women in tech group (ShfWIT). I've written about why I stepped away. I had a great time as a volunteer event planner and host at #SheFest2020 and used to be a board director at Brightbox and 2025 may find me moving back to more visible community work.
